既にこのトピックスでお知らせしましたように、二学期からJETプログラム(The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme)のALT（Assistant Language Teacher）の先生が2名、英国よりいらっしゃっています。
この二学期の香蘭女学校での学校行事などを経験しての感想を、お二人が書いてくださいました。このトピックスで、3回にわたって掲載いたします。

 

End of term

We arrived at St.Hilda’s School in September at the beginning of the term. We were really happy and excited to meet the students and join them in their English lessons. We were also a little nervous and did not know what to expect. However, all those nervous feelings fleeted away once we were in the classrooms and speaking to the students. We love the enthusiasm of St.Hilda’s girls and admire the confidence each of you have when talking to us.
Since we started, we have been lucky enough to attend various school events such as St.Hilda`s festival and the bazaar. As we approached the end of the term, we were delighted to go to the Christmas service at Sanko Church and the Christmas assembly at school. Well done to all the year groups for singing beautifully. The carols reminded us of our school days. We also got to take part in the tree-lighting ceremony and witnessed the amazing lights turn on.
